Robert Baim, 69, died suddenly Sunday morning November 29th of cardiopulmonary arrest. He is pre deceased by parents Leslie and Helen Baim. He is survived by his wife, Ellen. father of Nathan and Jared(deceased), brother to Candy(Fred) Siegel and Richard Baim. Uncle to Loryn(Adam)Mufich,Brian Siegel, Alexis Baim, Nikki Baim and cousins Milo,Mason,Meadow Rose, and Jackson. Robert was a graduate of Niles West High school, Northern Illinois University and Kent Law school. He was a fan of all Chicago sports teams and it gave him great pleasure to attend games with his sons. Robert leaves behind a legacy of being a wonderful family man who throughout his life encountered many setbacks and obstacles. It is with great sadness that I post this notice of another one of our dear friends from Lincoln Hall who are no longer with us. I remember Bob as someone with an infectious smile, laugh, and sense of humor, and a vibrant personality. He was an overall fun person to be around, from childhood, through high school, and into our university years. Like so many of us, whose lives have taken us in different directions away from our Lincolnwood schoolhouse, I lost touch with Bob but fortunately, I am still in touch with how lucky he made me feel to be his friend.
